Our Story

We’re Veronika, Adam, and our little explorer, Janka — a Hungarian family on a mission to discover the world, one backpack at a time! Over the past five years, we’ve traveled through Europe, India, Malaysia, and Tanzania, discovering different cultures and landscapes. Now, with our 14-month-old adventurer, we’re excited to show you that traveling, backpacking, and hiking with kids is not just possible — it’s a magical experience.

Janka, our curious 15-month-old, has already explored seven countries and created memories that will last a lifetime. Our 16-day Balkan road trip was one of our most memorable adventures, hiking the beautiful mountains of Montenegro, exploring Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia. We’ve also tried camping, glamping, and farm stays with our daughter in Slovenia. And of course, we couldn’t miss out on enjoying the Adriatic Sea during our summer in Croatia. Oh, and guess where we celebrated Janka's first birthday? In Italy, at the picturesque Lake Garda!

You may be wondering about the name "Little Bridges." The "Little" represents our 14-month-old daughter, while "Bridge" reflects our passion for travel and hiking. Our goal is to connect with other families and inspire them to explore the world, sharing tips and experiences along the way.

Join us on this incredible journey as we build Little Bridges — one adventure at a time!

Veronika Tóth

My name is Veronika Tóth, and I'm a proud mother to my curious 15-month-old daughter, Janka. We live just outside of Budapest, Hungary, where we're enjoying the family life while I’m on parental leave.

Before motherhood, I had the privilege to work at various national and international organizations. I hold degrees in International Relations, Law & Economics, as well as an MBA. Alongside my professional career, I pursued my passion for yoga by completing a yoga teacher training course; I taught Hatha yoga and organized two yoga and hiking retreats. I also earned a tour guide certification and had the pleasure of leading bus tours to Paris, France.

I’m multilingual and use Hungarian, English, French, and Russian in my daily life. I’ve been fortunate enough to live abroad for several years, spending time in the US, Tunisia, France, Italy, Germany, India, Thailand, and more—experiences that have broadened my worldview.

I enjoy traveling and hiking. One of my most unforgettable adventures was hiking to the summit of Rinjani, the second highest volcano in Indonesia. Reaching its 3,726-meter peak was a physical and mental challenge, but the views from the top were magical.

Now, as a mother, I’m eager to explore the world with my daughter and show her how beautiful and big it is. Through this website, I aim to share my experiences on family travel, hiking, and the art of balancing adventure with motherhood. I hope to inspire fellow parents to get outdoors and discover new places together.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!
